Shipping

Outside holiday periods, strikes, volcanoes and bad weather, orders are generally despatched within one working day. All delivery charges are calculated automatically by weight and size. We charge the minimum possible so there are no nasty surprises at the checkout. We hate being overcharged for postage and packing so we're not going to do it to you. We send all our orders by Royal Mail. Larger or more valuable orders will be sent by Recorded or Special Delivery automatically. We do not ship to all countries.

Note: If there are discrepancies in the details you provide, then your order may be delayed while we carry out additional security checks. This includes Special Delivery etc so please ensure all your billing and delivery details are correct.

We will normally send you an email when your order leaves us. Royal Mail aims to deliver 93% of all First Class items the next working day. However, this target rarely seems to be met in our experience. There is more information on the above options at www.royalmail.com

Special Delivery etc

Special Delivery does not include Saturdays. You have to choose Saturday Delivery if this is when you want your order to arrive. Royal Mail charges extra for guaranteed Saturday deliveries.
All of Snorestore's premium shipping services require a signature on delivery. We are not responsible for delays if you are not in when the postman comes.

General notes

As a general rule, our cut-off point for same day despatch is 2pm but this can be brought forward or moved back depending on unpredicatable events such as whether the Post Office is closing early. If the time change is significant, we will alert you via the Snorestore Updates (Twitter feed) box on the left hand side of the page. If you're really desperate, phone us on 020 8861 3149 or email us via the Contact Us page and we will see what we can do. Orders placed after 2pm on Fridays and all weekend and Bank Holiday orders will be sent on the next available working day.
We keep records of Royal Mail tracking numbers and can supply these on request. Please call us on 020 8861 3149 or us if you need more information about any of our shipping services.

Please read

Despite our best efforts, even First Class mail may take several days to get to you. This is not our fault. Please do not 'phone us the day after you placed your order to complain that it has not arrived.
We obtain certificates of posting for all orders mostly because we know Royal Mail sometimes has difficulties in meeting its own targets but also, sadly, because some people are dishonest.
Naturally we will happily send you a replacement order if yours goes missing but we ask you to wait at least 10 days from the order date before writing the original order off as a lost item. Of course, if your order is particularly urgent, you can choose Next Working Day delivery.
