Early Christmas presents

So, what was in that DHL delivery which we hinted at yesterday?

Firstly, more of our everyday products to keep us – and you – going well into 2010 so there’s no danger of those horrible “out of stock” notices you see on less well-run websites.

Secondly, a couple of old favourites which we’re pleased to have back on the Snorestore shelves:

Mack's Shut-Eye Shade at Snorestore

Mack's Shut-Eye Shade

1. Mack’s Shut-Eye Shade – a shiny satiny sleep eye mask with adjustable straps. Lightweight and light-blocking, you can take one of these with you on your travels, or just keep it by your bedside for those occasions when your partner’s intent on reading into the wee small hours and you just want some kip.

Click here to buy the Mack’s Shut-Eye Shade from Snorestore for just £7.50.

Mack's Ear Seals at Snorestore

Mack's Ear Seals

2. Mack’s Ear Seals – a pair of reusable and washable earplugs with a removable cord which you can use  either for cutting down incoming noise, or keeping out incoming water. Yes, they’re dual use and therefore suitable for watersports, bathing, showering, DIY, concerts, factory noise etc etc.

Click here to buy a set of Mack’s Ear Seals for £5.00.

Ringing the Changes

with one comment

As we head into the frantically busy period that is December, we’re taking the time not just to review our stock levels, but also the products which make up that stock.

Obviously, some products sell better than others, and our best seller lists, visible at the bottom of our home page, are updated on a regular basis so everyone can see what’s popular right now.

But some products never make it onto the best seller chart. It’s not that these products are no good, it’s just that they are (usually) earplugs for more specialist applications, such as for musicians, or for keeping little ears warm and dry. These sorts of products are just as important to us as our best sellers and we’ve no plans to stop stocking them.

There are though, a handful of products which we’re going to say goodbye to. We’ve kind of come to the end of the line with them and frankly, if the feedback doesn’t cut the mustard, they don’t deserve space on our shelves.

Uvex Hi-Com Earplugs

Uvex Hi-Com Earplugs

Instead, we’re actively researching brand new products to fill the gaps. One of them, Uvex Hi-Com, came online just yesterday. You can find this fluorescent little beauty here.

We’re also revisiting some old favourites, products which we used to stock but which through sheer laziness we allowed to slip off the list. More on those, hopefully, tomorrow, if DHL live up to their promise on the phone this morning ;-)

Trebles all round

without comments

It’s amazing how the word “free” attracts people. We noticed that a rival-who-shall-not-be-named was offering people “free earplugs”. Except they weren’t really free at all. You had to send them an SAE first. The two lots of postage would cost you at least 60p – more than the value of the earplugs!
So not to be outdone, we are offering free earplugs too. Except we don’t demand you send us an SAE first. You just fill in the form, submit it online and we do the rest*. Think of it as an early Christmas present if you like.

*We do ask that you agree to go on our mailing list, which as regular and long-standing customers will know, is used to contact you very infrequently.
