I've just returned from two weeks in the Maldives. Having a chronic perforated eardrum since the last trip, I didn't take my snorkelling gear as I had been advised to keep this ear completely dry at all times. I did however take my Macks Pillow Soft earplugs. They worked so completely well that I had to hire snorkelling gear and was able to do both surface and free-diving to a couple of meters. No water got into my ears at all and there has been no infection as a result. I want to thank you for giving me the means to put the icing on the cake of my holiday.

Both sets of ear plugs arrived this morning.. less than 24 hours after I ordered them!! Brilliant!

But just be aware that we are absoloutely resolute when it comes to dealing with people who try to rip us off or are simply downright rude. Examples include: claiming earplugs have not arrived when we know they have; claiming that earplugs have not been used when they arrive back here soiled and smelly and a refund is demanded; sending expletive-ridden emails. A dishonourable mention for the student in Kent who claimed she'd had to pay excess postage on her order. Turned out she'd sent the email before her order had even left our building. We wonder how many companies she's managed to con that way.

** Royal Mail had managed to smash the first consignment to smithereens.
