What happens if I lose one?

ProGuard recognises that although the product will last a long time, sometimes the human element can enter the equation and earplugs can get lost or damaged. Should this happen and you require a replacement left or right earplug, then please return your ear impressions to ProGuard for the matching ear or ears needed and the lab will manufacture a new earplug or a complete new set should you require it. Obviously this will incur a charge so please contact ProGuard before sending them back and they will let you know the costs and give you a reference number.

Your ear impressions are a vital part of supplying this service: your original ear impressions will be returned to your after your ProGuards are manufactured but please keep them safe and sound. If they need to be returned to us then please make sure they are placed inside a small strong cardboard box, not just a Jiffy bag as this can result in them being crushed during the postal process and resulting in them being distorted and completely useless.

Ear impressions are good for about two years after they are first taken. This is generally due to the natural human ageing process: anatomically our face and ears will change over the course of this time and the result can be the ear impressions will probably not be the perfect fit that they once were.

ProGuard Acoustic Filters can also be changed and ProGuard can retro fit new filters. If you decide you should need a higher or lower rated filter, just pop the earplugs in a small box into the post to Progaurd (NOT Snorestore!) with a note of your personal details including contact telephone number and the filter type you now want. Proguard will then contact you once they have carried out the work and take payment.
