Why a cap?

Why a cap?

In just a few minutes, the DizzyFIX visually guides patients through the particle repositioning manoeuvre to achieve successful treatment of BPPV.

How the DizzyFIX Works
A clamp attaches the DizzyFIX to the peak of a cap (included with the device). The device consists of a special tube filled with fluid and a bead. The patient guides the bead through the device with head movements and his BPPV is resolved. The device enables the patient to repeat the manoeuvre as often as required. There are no side effects, and the DizzyFIX is completely safe.
BPPV may be a chronic condition and up to 60% of patients will experience relapse in their lifetime. The DizzyFIX enables patients to treat recurrent episodes quickly and effectively.

Please note The DizzyFIX is a scientific but entirely drug-free and non-intrusive therapy. There are no side effects to this manoeuvre and it can be repeated as often as required. Patients are encouraged to have supervision while using the device and to conduct the manoeuvres on the floor such that a fall during repositioning is not possible. Patients with limited neck mobility or other neck problems should consult their family doctor prior to use of the device.
